Trust is Uttar Pradesh’s biggest asset, says CM Yogi in Agra

Lucknow, March 7: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when society, government, and institutions start thinking together in one direction, the result turns into trust. Trust should be our biggest asset. People have to make efforts to achieve this. Today, Uttar Pradesh has become a symbol of trust.

The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering after inaugurating Yatharth Hospital in Agra on Saturday. In his address, he mentioned the positive changes in the medical field in Uttar Pradesh in the last nine years and said that nothing is more important than health. Healthcare should be accurate, affordable, and reliable.

He expressed hope that Yatharth Group will definitely deliver results and earn virtue by giving people a healthy life. The government is also ready to provide all possible support in this area.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that every person should have the right to good healthcare, and every sovereign country should provide this facility to its citizens. In the past 11 years, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India has gained a new global identity. We are all witnessing a new India, emerging as the world’s third-largest economy. It showcases a remarkable blend of heritage and development, and we are witnessing the realization of all the concepts of holistic development. Along with highways, expressways, metros, new railway lines, and technology, we are also enjoying traveling in Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and Namo Bharat.

The Chief Minister stated that the government is making efforts, but when government and society work together, the results are multiplied. Private investment in this sector is essential today. Healthy competition requires government efforts and the private sector’s participation. The government is introducing a new policy for super-specialty hospitals from the private sector. The government is also supporting investments in new medical colleges. The

Chief Minister called on the Yatharth Group to come forward to establish a medical college in any district, further adding, he said that the Medical Council has simplified its requirements. This is the best time to establish new medical institutions and make Uttar Pradesh a center of advanced medical education for young people. The government is ready to provide all possible support.

Chief Minister said this is the eighth hospital of the Yatharth Group.

Chief Minister Yogi said that previously, there was only one AIIMS in the country, but Atal Bihari Vajpayee increased the number to six, and Modiji increased it to 23. A long chain of IITs, IIMs, NITs, and Triple ITs has emerged. As the country grows, even the state with the largest population is not lagging behind. Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh had only 17 medical colleges; today, 81 medical colleges are operating. Previously, the “One District, One Mafia” system dominated the state. Previous governments’ thinking was limited to the mafia, and they created mafias. However, the double-engine government has provided a medical college to every district. Today, two AIIMS (Rae Bareli and Gorakhpur) operate in the state. The double-engine government has implemented development and welfare schemes. More than 60 million people have risen above the poverty line and are living normal lives.

He said that there was a time when a person’s illness would cause chaos in the entire family, forcing them to mortgage their belongings. Today, PM Modi has provided Ayushman Bharat as a form of health insurance. Golden cards have been issued to 56 million people in Uttar Pradesh. This number is soon expected to reach 100 million. The state has over 1 million Shiksha Mitras, teachers, instructors, Anganwadi and Asha workers, and cooks. They have also been provided with cashless healthcare services worth five lakh rupees. 1300 crore rupees have been made available from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for healthcare. Along with providing numerous facilities, including free dialysis and CT scans, work has also been initiated to introduce new global technologies in every district of Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister announced that centers of excellence for medtech are being established at IIT Kanpur and SGPGI Lucknow. To ensure that medicines are produced in Uttar Pradesh, a 1500-acre pharma park is being developed in Lalitpur. To ensure medical equipment is manufactured in Uttar Pradesh, a medical device park is being established on 350 acres along the Yamuna Expressway. Telemedicine has been implemented in the state.
