Ayodhya, March 7: The three-day meeting of the Building Construction Committee, currently underway at the Ram Temple complex, continued on its second day on Saturday. Before the meeting, Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra provided several important information to the media.

He stated that the meeting primarily discussed President Droupadi Murmu’s proposed visit to Ayodhya and the outline of the program. President Droupadi Murmu will arrive at the Ram Temple complex on the Indian New Year, March 19, at around 11 am, and will offer prayers to Ram Lalla. She will stay there for approximately four hours and participate in a program organized by the Shri Ram Temple Teerth Kshetra Trust.

He added that devotees will not be able to visit Ram Lalla during the President’s visit. A special plan is being made for the inspection of the temple complex, security arrangements, and facilities for devotees in connection with the event.

Nripendra Mishra stated that most of the construction of the Ram Temple has been completed. Now, only two major tasks remain: the Martyrs’ Memorial and the temporary temple.

He stated that a 10-year contract has been signed with the Central Building Research Institute and Optica Company to maintain the tradition of Surya Tilak for Ram Lalla.

After the President’s ceremony, the temple complex will be fully opened to devotees, and approximately 5,000 devotees will be able to visit all the temples, including the fort, daily on a pass basis.
