Lucknow, March 5: Two men, son-in-law Sushil and father-in-law Munni Lal, lost their lives in a motorcycle accident on Kisan Path near Sushant Golf City in Lucknow on Thursday afternoon, while Sushilโs wife remains in critical condition.
According to the police, the accident occurred when a speeding SUV hit Sushil’s motorcycle. The son-in-law and father-in-law, along with the injured woman, were admitted to Trauma 2 at PGI in critical condition. Son-in-law Sushil and father-in-law Munni Lal died, while the woman’s condition remains critical.
Following the fatal accident, family members blocked the road and staged a protest at Kisan Path near Sushant Golf City, prompting ACP Gosaiganj Rishabh Yadav and Inspector Rajiv Ranjan Upadhyay to arrive with police forces; officers are trying to pacify the crowd as a traffic jam-like situation continues.
A local police officer said that Sushil Kumar (46), a resident of Gopal Kheda in Mohanlalganj, was returning from a relative’s house on a motorcycle with his wife and father-in-law Munni Lal (60). On the way, an uncontrolled SUV hit their motorcycle on the Kisan Path. Sushil and his father-in-law Munni Lal died in the accident, while Sushil’s wife is in critical condition. The matter is being investigated.
