Gorakhpur, March 4: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while inaugurating the traditional Holi festival at the Gorakhnath Temple, said that Holi festival is a festival of social harmony, enthusiasm, and joy. Festivals of joy and enthusiasm are celebrated only when there is peace, harmony in society, a sense of security, and trust. Uttar Pradesh and the entire country have moved forward with this belief.
Speaking to media persons at the Gorakhnath Temple complex on Wednesday morning, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that by preserving the thousands of years old legacy of Holi, handed down by India’s sage tradition and ancestors, the current generation is carrying it forward with the same enthusiasm and zeal.
He said that today, people from every section of society, every Sanatani, across the state is feeling joy by associating with this sacred festival. By eliminating any discord or animosity, we are furthering the effort to establish a harmonious society.
CM Yogi said that all ‘Holika Dahan’ events in the state were completed successfully. Holika Dahan events were held peacefully and enthusiastically at more than 161,000 locations across the state. These incarnations appear before us in some form or another in every era. If we all, in their role, faithfully fulfill our role as Prahlad, Shabari, or Arjun, positive forces will be strengthened, and negative forces will be defeated and automatically vanquished.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are witnessing a new India today, an India that is rapidly progressing towards becoming a developed India. Today’s India, under PM Modi’s leadership, has firmly become a part of the process of heritage and development.
