Lucknow, March 01: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the sacred festival of colors, ‘Holi’.
He said that ‘Holi Utsav’ is a vibrant celebration of Indian culture, which further strengthens the spirit of social harmony, intimacy, enthusiasm, and unity. This festival is not just a festival of colors, but a symbol of mutual respect, harmony, and cooperation.
In his congratulatory message released on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi said that in the diverse Uttar Pradesh, our shared traditions and folk festivals unite all sections of society. ‘Holi’ inspires us to rise above hatred, discrimination, and negative tendencies and move towards love, trust, and positivity.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to celebrate the festival with joy, decency, and dignity. Refrain from any rumors, provocations, or antisocial activities and cooperate with the administration. Security arrangements have been strengthened in all districts to ensure the festival of colors is celebrated in a peaceful and safe environment.
The Chief Minister said that the message of Holi also strengthens the spirit of sensitivity and cooperation towards the weak, deprived, and needy members of society. The true joy of the festival is meaningful only when it reaches everyone’s life. The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to encourage the “Vocal for Local” campaign by using local products, so that the lives of the state’s artisans and small entrepreneurs can be filled with colors of prosperity.
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is today setting new standards for development, employment, security, good governance, and social harmony. In this context, a festival like Holi further strengthens our collective resolve to build a safe, prosperous, and respectful society.
He expressed confidence that this festival will infuse new energy, new inspiration, and positive thinking in the state.
