Road accident claims three young lives before exam, CM Yogi offers condolences

Lucknow, February 23: Three students on their way to take a board exam were killed and a fellow student injured in a road accident in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sorrow over the accident and extended his condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased.

According to information, four students from the Dadhiyal area were traveling from Dadhiyal to the Tanda examination center on a bike to take the board exam on Monday morning. On the way, the tractor driver ahead suddenly applied the brakes, causing the students riding the bike behind them to collide with the tractor-trolley. Three students died on the spot in the accident, while the condition of the fourth student, Badal, is reported to be critical.

Police arrived at the scene after receiving information and identified the students as Arun, Vinay, and Manu. Vinay and Manu were residents of the Dadhiyal area. They were neighbors and belonged to a farming family. The death of these friends has cast a pall of gloom over the village.

The police have seized the crashed bike and tractor trolley and launched a search for the driver. The police are investigating the matter seriously.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his deep condolences over the road accident in the Tanda police station area of โ€‹โ€‹Rampur. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased through official channels.

The Chief Minister said, “The untimely loss of these students is extremely painful. The government stands with the families in this hour of grief.” The Chief Minister has directed the administration to take prompt legal action in this matter.

Chief Minister Yogi ordered senior officials of the Rampur district administration and police department to immediately reach the scene. Following the Chief Minister’s instructions, relief operations have been expedited. The Chief Minister has clearly instructed officials to contact the families and console them, and complete the post-mortem and other legal procedures without delay.
