Noida Police raids-rescues 17 girls massage parlour

Noida, February 14: The Gautam Buddha Nagar police raided three massage parlors in Sector 50, under the jurisdiction of Sector 49 police station in Noida, late Friday night. Police rescued 17 girls and detained seven young men. Police claim that prostitution was allegedly being carried out in these parlors.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manisha Singh said on Saturday that the police had been receiving complaints of immoral activities being conducted in these massage parlors. Based on tip-off, the police and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, formed a team, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Rakesh Singh and raided three different massage parlors simultaneously late Friday night. During this, Tushar, Kapil, Manish, Jitendra, Guddu, Shani, and Vikas were detained. Seventeen young women were rescued from the scene. The girls told police that these men were forcing them into prostitution by threatening them. Incriminating material and cash were recovered.

ADCP Manisha Singh stated that the police are committed to cracking down on such activities and will continue such actions in the future.
