Jaunpur, January 28: Pinky Mali, from Jaunpur district of the Uttar Pradesh, was also killed in the plane crash along with the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Pinky Mali, 29, a native of Bhainsa village in Kerakat tehsil, 50 km from Jaunpur district headquarters, was a cabin crew member on the plane. Pinky’s father, Shiv Kumar Mali, is a Shiv Sena leader in Maharashtra.
Ashok Singh, a resident of Bhaisa village, said that Pinky’s father has a deep connection with the village. He organizes Durga Puja every year in the village. He had visited the village only a year and a half ago. The entire family lives in Mumbai. Pinky has a brother, Karan, and a sister, Preeti. We learned about the accident on TV. Pinky’s cousin, Krishna Mali, said that her father used to say that Pinky was very happy and had said that if she boarded the flight, she would connect him with Ajit Pawar. Her brother, Karan, said that Pinky had called in the morning saying she was going from Baramati to Nanded. After that, there was no message from her. Everyone in the district is grieving Pinky’s passing. Belonging to the Mali community, her father was considered very friendly and people are constantly praising Pinky.
