Lucknow, January 24: The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Krishna Karunesh has been given the additional charge of the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida Authority in Uttar Pradesh. Karunesh, a 2011 batch IAS officer, is currently working as Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO).
After the accidental death of software engineer Yuvraj Mehta in Sector 150 of Noida, questions were being raised about road safety and administrative negligence in the entire city.
The government had constituted an SIT for investigation in the matter while removing Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M. Now, on Saturday, the government has appointed IAS officer Krishna Karunesh to the vacant post of CEO of Noida Authority.
It is noteworthy that IAS officer Krishna Karunesh, originally from Bihar, has served as District Magistrate of Gorakhpur, CDO of Ghaziabad and District Magistrate of Hapur and Balrampur districts.
