Sultanpur, January 07: Assistant teacher Raghavendra Dwivedi has been suspended in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh for insulting children and being rude to female teachers.
The Basic Education Officer (BSA) Upendra Gupta said on Wednesday that the assistant teacher has been suspended on the charges of being rude to female teachers and insulting children as per the investigation report of Block Education Officer (BEO) Badhaiyan. Around 45 parents of Primary School Bharsare, the school’s headmaster, BJP Mandal President Ram Murti Verma and through IGRS filed complaints against him.
The complaints said that Raghavendra Dwivedi abuses parents and abuses female teachers. Based on these complaints, a site inspection of the school was conducted on December 11, 2025. During the inspection, the school cooks, Manbhawati, Rekha, Saroja, Sarita, and approximately 11 parents were questioned separately. The parents’ statements revealed that factionalism had increased within the school since Raghavendra Dwivedi took charge. The investigation report recommended strict disciplinary action against Raghavendra Dwivedi for failing to discharge his council duties, failing to comply with the Right to Education Act, disrupting the school’s educational system, and behaving contrary to employee regulations.
Subsequently, a show-cause notice was issued to Raghavendra Dwivedi on December 17, 2025, seeking an explanation with evidence. He submitted his explanation on December 30, 2025, but it was found unsatisfactory. Following this, this action was taken against him.
