Lucknow, December 30: A young man died after being hit by a pickup vehicle late Monday night in the Alambagh police station area of ​​Lucknow. Police seized the pickup vehicle and detained the driver, told police.
The Station in-charge (SHO) Subhash Chandra said on Tuesday that Shashi Singh, a resident of Vijay Nagar in the Naka Hindola police station area of ​​Alambagh, reported that his son, Ashirwad Singh Rana (27), worked in Bangla Bazaar. He was returning home late Monday night when he was hit by a pickup vehicle (UP 41 AT 2247) near the supply depot. The son suffered serious injuries in the accident and died during treatment.
The SHO said that based on the woman’s complaint, the police have registered a case and begun an investigation. The driver has been taken into custody and the pickup vehicle involved in the accident has been seized.
