Noida, December 26: A nurse living in Khajur Colony, Sector 39 police station area, hanged herself from a fan at her residence last night for unknown reasons. Her family admitted her in critical condition to Vinayak Hospital in Noida for treatment, where she died, informed police.
Police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident and are investigating the matter.
Inspector-in-charge of Sector 39 police station, DP Shukla, stated that Vidya, 22, daughter of Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Khajur Colony, hanged herself from a fan at her home last night. She was alone at the time of the incident. When her family returned home, they found her hanging from the noose. She was admitted to Vinayak Hospital in Sector 27, Noida, in a very critical condition, where she was declared dead.
He stated that the deceased was a nurse at the same Vinayak Hospital. He said that the police, who arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident, are investigating the matter.
He added that the deceased did not write a suicide note. The reason for the suicide is being ascertained by grilling the family members. He added that the deceased’s mobile phone data is being analyzed.
