Lucknow, December 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal on Thursday to mark the 101 birth centenary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Giant statues of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee have been installed at the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal, developed on 65 acres in Sector J of the Basant Kunj Scheme in Lucknow, the state capital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address a public meeting on this occasion.

The Rashtriya Prerna Sthal is built on the Hardoi Road, along the banks of the Gomti River in Lucknow. Bronze statues of all three personalities have been installed at the 65-acre Prerna Sthal. Each statue is 65 feet tall.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated a museum dedicated to the lives of these great personalities. Prime Minister Modi and other leaders also visited this lotus-shaped museum.
Present on the occasion were Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh, Governor Anandiben Patel, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister of State for Finance and Uttar Pradesh BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and other ministers and leaders of the Uttar Pradesh government.
