Lucknow, December 23: A 23-year-old boy riding a speeding bike crashed into a tree while trying to avoid a vehicle in the Banthra police station area of โโLucknow on Tuesday morning.
Banthra police station in-charge Rana Rajesh said that Rahul Gautam (23), a resident of Gulab Kheda, was a laborer. As usual, he was riding his motorcycle towards the Qasim Kheda intersection. While trying to avoid an oncoming vehicle near Glory Public School in Dodiya Kheda on the Banthra-Bijnor road, the bike went out of control and hit a roadside tree. Rahul was seriously injured in the accident.
The SHO told that upon receiving information from passersby, his family rushed to the scene and, with the help of an ambulance, he was taken to the Sarojini Nagar Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead. The police sent the body for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
