Unnao, December 17: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday raided the premises of Anurag Dwivedi in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. Anurag was associated with Dream11. The action was taken in connection with a case of disproportionate assets and alleged gambling.
A 16-member ED team, arriving in ten vehicles, simultaneously raided Anurag’s ancestral village, Bhitrepar Khajur, and Nawabganj town.
However, Anurag Dwivedi was not present at home. The team spent several hours examining documents at his premises and scrutinizing property records. The team then questioned his uncle, Narpendra Nath Dwivedi, who lives in the town, and searched his house.
However, no ED official has officially confirmed or stated the raid. The team’s action has been kept strictly confidential.
