Lucknow, 17 December: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Rashtra Prerna Sthal’ built in the Basant Kunj scheme of Lucknow on December 25.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Organization Dharampal reached the venue on Wednesday to take stock of the preparations going on at the venue.
While giving directions to the officials regarding the preparations underway for the function, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there should not be any kind of shortcoming in the grandeur of the event.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached today to take stock of the preparations for the inauguration ceremony of ‘Rashtra Prerna Sthal’ to be held on December 25. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal.
For the event, the Public Distribution System (LDA), the Municipal Corporation, and other departments are working day and night to beautify the venue and the surrounding area. 232 crore rupees have been spent on the construction of this 65-acre Rashtriya Prerna Sthal. 65-foot-tall statues of former Prime Ministers Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee have been installed within the complex. Approximately 21 crore rupees have been spent on the construction of these statues. A museum has also been built within the complex to preserve the lives and thoughts of these great personalities. Officials involved in the preparations provided Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with all the information related to the event.
The Tourism Minister has already inspected the site. Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh also inspected the arrangements on Tuesday. He described the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal as a symbol of patriotism, cultural consciousness, and national heroes. Approximately 150,000 people from Lucknow and surrounding districts are expected to attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed National Inspiration Site. Transportation facilities are being arranged for their travel.
