Lucknow, December 15: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya have expressed grief over the demise of Dr Ram Vilas Das Vedanti, a prominent pillar of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, former MP and Vashishtha Peethadheeshwar of Shri Ayodhya Dham.
Chief Minister wrote on his social media account that the passing of Dr Ram Vilas Das Vedanti marks the end of an era. His life of sacrifice, dedicated to the service of religion, society and nation, is an inspiration for all of us. His departure to Goloka is an irreparable loss to the spiritual world and Sanatan culture. Humble tributes to him. We pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant the departed soul a place in his holy feet and give strength to the bereaved disciples and followers to bear this immense grief.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote on his social media account, “The news of the passing of Dr Ram Vilas Vedanti Maharaj, a leading leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), former MP, and revered saint who played a key role in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement, is extremely saddening.
His passing is an irreparable loss to the spiritual world. His life of selfless service to religion, society, and nation will always be a source of inspiration for all of us. We pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant the departed soul a place in his holy feet and provide strength to his disciples and followers in this difficult time.”
