Lucknow police seizes gangster’s illegal assets worth ₹ 98.44 lakh

Lucknow, November 29: The Lucknow police has seized movable and immovable property worth ₹ 98.44 lakh belonging to gang leader Kuldeep Singh on Saturday, police said.

The Chinhat police station in-charge Dinesh Chandra Mishra stated that this action was taken in compliance with the order passed on November 21, as directed by the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime and Headquarters).

He stated that following the completion of the seizure process, the police also pasted a notice board with necessary information outside Kuldeep Singh’s house in Radhapuram Colony, Kanchanpur Matiyari, clearly warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone who occupies, uses, or encroaches on the property.

According to the police, accused Kuldeep Singh has been charged with murdering victim Ram Milan’s daughter-in-law, Pooja Yadav, in 2023, fraud, forging documents, and obtaining financial gain. A case has been registered against him under the Gangster Act.

As per the police, a joint team from the BBD police station, led by Chinhat police station in-charge Dinesh Chandra Mishra, took action and seized the identified property and publicly announced the attachment by erecting a board at the spot
