Gorakhpur, November 29: The Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured those who came to ‘Janta Darshan’ seeking financial assistance for serious diseases that they should seek treatment in multi-facility hospitals without worry, and the government will provide adequate financial support. The government will arrange for any treatment expenses.
Chief Minister Yogi also directed officials to expedite the process of estimating those in need of financial assistance and submit it to the government. Adequate assistance will be provided to every needy person from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Gorakhpur late Friday evening. After spending the night at the Gorakhnath Temple, he met approximately 200 people at the ‘Janta Darshan’ held on Saturday morning within the temple premises. He assured everyone that there was no need to worry or panic. Every problem would be effectively resolved.
Chief Minister directed the officials to address the public’s problems with utmost seriousness and sensitivity, ensuring prompt, quality, and satisfactory resolution so that no one has to face any inconvenience. Every victim should be treated with sensitivity, and their problems should be resolved and they should be satisfied. There should be no laxity in this regard.
Chief Minister said that if anyone is engaging in land grabbing or bullying, strict legal action should be taken against them. In resolving family matters, priority should be given to sitting together and communicating with both parties.
Chief Minister also instructed the officials that if any eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government welfare schemes, they should be immediately provided with the benefits.
As always, many people (especially women) reached ‘Janta Darshan’ seeking monetary aid for their own or their family members’ serious illnesses. When a young girl requested financial assistance for her mother’s treatment, Chief Minister Yogi said, “Don’t worry, get the treatment done; the money will be arranged.”
Yogi also assured others with the same warmth that the government will not let lack of funds hinder the treatment of anyone in need. Adequate assistance will be provided from the discretionary fund.
