Lucknow, November 16: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting in Sambhal district on Sunday.
Chief Minister inquired about the ongoing development works and also reviewed law and order. He then directed the government and district officials to develop Sambhal in a phased manner.
“Sambhal’s development is the government’s priority. In the first phase, focus on the restoration of ancient pilgrimage sites and wells. In the second phase, focus on development works like museums and light and sound”, said Yogi.
Chief Minister also called for prompt action on the construction of the District Court, Jail, and PAC in Sambhal. The Chief Minister reviewed the work of several departments, including Revenue, Home, Justice, Charitable Works, Public Works, Tourism-Culture, and Urban Development.
Chief Minister said that there are 68 pilgrimage sites and 19 wells in Sambhal. The state government is working to restore and identify these pilgrimage sites. The Chief Minister directed the local administration to expedite these projects.
Yogi Adityanath stated that all departments should have offices in the integrated complex building. The Chief Minister was informed that 93% of the land for residential and non-residential buildings has been purchased. The Chief Minister directed the preparation of the DPR and the expedited work. The
Yogi also directed the expedited land acquisition process for the establishment of the District Court, Prison, and PAC.
Chief Minister directed that land acquisition, road construction, and public amenities be increased near important pilgrimage sites along the 24 Kosi Parikrama.
Chief Minister inquired about the restoration work of the Mahishmati River. The Chief Minister stated that rivers are life-giving and that the government is working to conserve them. The restoration work should be expedited by preparing a project under Namami Gange.
The Chief Minister also directed the construction of the CBG plant.
