Bhagalpur, November 9: Campaigning for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections has concluded on Sunday, the final day, Bollywood actress Neha Sharma held a massive roadshow in Bhagalpur in support of her father and Congress candidate Ajit Sharma.
Neha’s presence in the election atmosphere has further raised the political temperature in Bhagalpur. The road show began from Budhanath after 2 pm and passed through major areas of the city, reaching the station.
As per the planned route, Neha Sharma’s convoy proceeded through Naya Bazaar, Sarai, Sahebganj, Narga Chowk, Champa Nagar Vishhari Sthan Chowk, Champa Nagar, Medini Nagar Chowk, Nathnagar, Parbatti, and Tatarpur Chowk. A large crowd of Congress workers and supporters was seen during the roadshow.
It is believed that Neha Sharma’s popularity and glamour factor are likely to inject new energy into Ajit Sharma’s campaign.
It is noteworthy that in the last assembly polls, Neha held a road show in Bhagalpur to solicit votes for her father, which paid off. However, this time, Ajit Sharma is contesting the Bhagalpur seat for the third consecutive time, facing a direct contest against BJP candidate Rohit Pandey. Neha Sharma’s presence on the final day of campaigning has created an atmosphere of excitement within the Congress camp.
