Gorakhpur, October 22: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again verbally attacked the Samajwadi Party (SP) President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav over his statement regarding the Deepotsav in Ayodhya.

Chief Minister said that by making a statement against lighting earthen lamps on Diwali, Akhilesh Yadav has proved that he hates the Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, the deities, Sanatan Dharma, and its festivals like Diwali. His statement is an insult to the Prajapati community (potters). He also taunted Akhilesh, saying that you can inherit a throne, but not intelligence. Only people without wisdom oppose Diwali.

Chief Minister Yogi was addressing the Vichar-Parivar Kutumb Sneh Milan and ‘Deepotsav se Rashtrotsav’ programs organized by the Gorakhpur division of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the centenary year of the RSS.

At a program held at the Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium on Tuesday night, the Chief Minister praised the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s contribution to the construction of a temple at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya after a 500-year wait.

He said that during the Sangh’s hundred-year journey, even the impossible has become possible. When members of the Samajwadi Party, Congress, and the NDA alliance questioned the Ram Temple, the Sangh volunteers resolutely declared that the temple would definitely be built. The Sangh endured restrictions, faced lathicharge and bullets. The result is evident to all in the form of the magnificent Shri Ram Temple.

The

Chief Minister said that Ayodhya, which was desolate eight and a half years ago, has now acquired a new identity through the grand Deepotsav. This year, a new world record of 26.17 lakh diyas was set.

He said that the Samajwadi Party (SP) even has a problem with lighting diyas. The SP chief says that there is no need to light diyas; they could have lit candles. His statement is an insult to the farmers who provide oil for diyas by growing oilseeds and the potters who make earthen lamps. Had he understood the pain of potters regarding clay before 2017, Babua (SP chief Akhilesh Yadav) would not have given such childish statements. He does not know that two crore people are involved in the business of clay lamps and utensils. Clay products are a symbol of economic independence and self-reliance.

Chief Minister said that Akhilesh hates the festivals and gods of Sanatan Dharma. Akhilesh talks about installing the statue of Duryodhan, we said that you should also install the statue of Kansa.

Calling SP a traitor to Ram, Krishna and Sanatan festival, he said that his government will continue to enhance the glory of Ayodhya, Mathura and Vrindavan.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also targeted the Congress party in his address. He said that the Congress party denied the existence of Lord Ram and Krishna. They had filed affidavits in court stating that Lord Ram and Krishna were myths. The Samajwadi Party (SP) had ruthlessly fired bullets at Ram devotees.

He said that today the world is overwhelmed by the sight of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Last year, 60 million people visited the temple in Ayodhya. Over 660 million people witnessed the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The Chief Minister said that the Samajwadi Party and Congress had been criticizing this from the very beginning.

Chief Minister said that in our country, there is much discussion about the years of British rule and British colonialism. There is much discussion about French colonialism. But there is no discussion of “political Islam,” which dealt the greatest blow to faith. Our ancestors fought against British and French colonialism. Furthermore, our ancestors fought significant battles against political Islam. We remember Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap, and Maharana Sanga for this very reason. It is for this very reason that we honor them as national heroes. Yogi said that this political Islam is the same one that is working in the form of Changur today with the intention of changing the demographics and fragmenting the Mother Nation. To remain vigilant against this, the campaign that the RSS is leading today to unite society is a highly commendable effort.
