Mumbai, October 22: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in Mumbai on Wednesday that there will be no cabinet expansion in Maharashtra government at the moment. After assessing the work of the ministers included in the cabinet, they will be shown the way out of the cabinet on the basis of review.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was addressing the presser at his residence Varsha Bungalow on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Fadnavis said that some of his cabinet ministers are making baseless statements, for which he has to answer. He said that all the allies of the ruling Mahayuti will contest the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections together. BJP will contest the elections alone in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, while discussions are still going on regarding Thane.
Fadnavis said that the BJP has decided to contest the elections independently in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad following the demand of local party workers and officials.
