Every ‘Sanatani’ is proud of the construction of “Ram Mandir”, says Yogi during Ayodhya Deepotsav

Ayodhya, 19 October: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya on Sunday on the occasion of ‘Deepotsav’ and visited Ram Lalla.

He inaugurated the historic ‘Deepotsav’ by lighting the first lamp in the Ram Mandir. The entire Ramnagari was illuminated with more than 26 lakh lamps on Deepotsav.

The presence of thousands of revered saints and lakhs of devotees on the banks of Saryu was a unique joy of devotion and divinity, giving the feeling as if heaven had descended on earth.

Before the inauguration of Deepotsav at Shri Ram Lalla Mandir, on the arrival of Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita and brother Laxman at Ramkatha Park, the Chief Minister himself welcomed them by garlanding them.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath placed the images of Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita, and Lakshman on the divine chariot with utmost reverence. It was as if the Treta Yuga had come alive! Upon witnessing this golden, heartwarming scene, all of Ayodhya was filled with the light of devotion and the energy of Ram’s name. As the chariot set out on its journey, the entire city of Ayodhya reverberated with chants of “Jai Siya Ram!”

Upon reaching the stage, the Chief Minister paid his respects to the symbolic images of Shri Ram Darbar by applying tilak to them. Following the Deepotsav, a grand laser show was organized at Ram Ki Paidi.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Lord Shri Ram is the soul of India. His path is our policy, his ideals are our direction. Today, the divine message of the soul of Indian culture, the faith of Sanatan Dharma, and the ideals of Ramrajya is being broadcast worldwide from Shri Ayodhya Dham.

Extending his best wishes to the people of the state on Deepotsav, the Chief Minister said that every Sanatani is proud of the construction of the Ram Temple. Today, the Sanatan faith is being honored. They opened fire, we are lighting lamps. The Samajwadi Party turned Ayodhya into Faizabad. We are eliminating the symbols of slavery.

A procession was held before Deepotsav. On the occasion of Deepotsav, a procession was held from the Saket College campus to Naya Ghat in Ramnagari. Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh flagged off the grand procession based on the Ramayana, waving the Jai Shri Ram flag and beating drums. This Deepotsav 2025 procession, presenting a glimpse of the “Treta Yuga,” became a wonderful example of devotion, folk dance, and cultural enthusiasm. Twenty-two captivating tableaux depicting the seven chapters of the Ramayana, namely, Balakanda, Ayodhyakanda, Aranyakanda, Kishkindhakanda, Sunderkanda, Lankakanda, and Uttarakanda, captivated everyone. on the occasion, Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, each edition of Deepotsav is breaking its own records, setting new benchmarks of faith and grandeur. This year’s Deepotsav is not just a celebration of divinity but also a powerful symbol of the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, which gives the message of cultural unity and social harmony.

On the occasion of Deepotsav, prominent people present were Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust President and Mahant Nritya Gopal Das Maharaj of Mani Ram Das Cantonment, Ayodhya, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Minister of State Satish Sharma, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Area Publicity Chief Subhash, Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, Bikapur MLA Dr. Amit Singh Chauhan, and Rudauli MLA Ramchandra Yadav.
