Mission Shakti 5.0: Visually-challenged, JRF scholar becomes CDO Lakhimpur Kheri for a day

Lakhimpur Kheri, October 9: Under Mission Shakti 5.0, on a special initiative by the Chief Development Officer (CDO) Abhishek Kumar, visually impaired girl Moni Verma was appointed as the CDO of Lakhimpur Kheri for a day. This was not just an administrative step, but a living message of women’s empowerment and social inclusion.

Moni was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers at the Vikas Bhawan on Thursday. CDO Abhishek Kumar hedped Moni to seat in his chair. Moni took her new responsibility with great seriousness. She listened to complaints from the public, gave instructions to officials, and demonstrated that true ability and courage are undeniable.

A resident of the rural area of โ€‹โ€‹Gola, Moni received her primary education from a council school. She subsequently earned an MA from the prestigious Miranda House College, Delhi University. Currently, Moni is pursuing a PhD in Sanskrit and is also a Junior Research fellowship (JRF) scholar. Her hard work and determination prove that dreams can be realized by overcoming every challenge.

CMO Abhishek Kumar said that Mission Shakti 5.0 is not just a campaign, but our commitment to women’s rights and dignity. Moni demonstrated today that if one’s willpower is strong, any obstacle seems small.

Moni’s smile and decisive words touched everyone in the CDO’s office. This initiative by a disabled girl is not only inspiring but also a reminder that the foundation for a strong society, empowered women, and a strong future is laid here.
