Gorakhpur, October 3: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that forces that divide society and pose a threat to security have existed in every era and situation. However, they have been destroyed by the strength of Sanatan unity. The evil characters from the Ramayana and Mahabharata still exist today under changed names and forms, dividing society. Every follower of “Sanatan Dharma” must remain vigilant against such people.

Chief Minister Yogi was addressing the Rajatilak ceremony of Lord Shri Ram, organized by the Shri Shri Ramlila Committee, Aryanagar, at the Mansarovar Ramlila Ground on Thursday evening on the occasion of Vijayadashami.

While extending Vijayadashami greetings and best wishes to everyone, he said that while the names may have changed, the evil characters from the Ramayana and Mahabharata still exist in different forms. Even today, society is plagued by people like Surpanakha, Tadka, Khar, Dushan, Maricha, and Subahu.

Chief Minister said that those who divide society in the name of casteism, untouchability, and discrimination may have been allies of Tadka, Maricha, and Surpanakha in their previous lives. Similarly, those who pose a threat to the safety of daughters and businesswomen may have been disciples of Duryodhan and Dushasan in their previous lives. Society must remain vigilant against such individuals.

Chief Minister said that Vijayadashami is the festival that heralds the establishment of Ramrajya by Lord Shri Ram after defeating Ravana, the epitome of unrighteousness, injustice, and oppression. Ramrajya is literally true in every time, place, and situation. That is why Sanatani people burn the effigy of Ravana to express gratitude for the kindness of Lord Shri Ram, the embodiment of Maryada Purushottam (the Supreme Being), and pay homage to him. The

Chief Minister said that when Maharishi Valmiki took up his pen to guide humanity through the writings of the most virtuous personality on earth, he found Shri Ram to be the embodiment of religion. According to him, Ram embodies all the demands of religion. Shri Ram resides in every pore and breath of every Sanatani.

Yogi said that in the 1990s, when communication was limited, the Ramayan serial broadcast on Doordarshan had a reach of over 660 million viewers. No other serial has been as popular. The reason is that Ram’s story is inspiring for everyone. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, it proved to be the most popular serial. Today’s crowd also testifies that Ram brings positive change in our lives by imparting some message through every event.

There is no organization as bright and powerful as the RSS in the world: CM Yogi.

Referring to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Vijayadashami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there is no organization as powerful and vibrant as the RSS in the world. Even in adverse circumstances, it has strengthened society and protected Indian values โ€‹โ€‹and ideals. The RSS has accomplished what governments have failed to do. Through education, health, and disaster relief services, the organization has worked to unite society. Through over 12,000 Shishu Mandirs, Vidya Bharati, and thousands of health projects, it has accomplished remarkable work in the fields of education and health. Whether it is the welfare of workers through the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, tribal children through the Shri Ram Vanvasi Hostel, or cow protection, the RSS has contributed to every aspect of society.

Chief Minister said that the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is the greatest manifestation of the RSS’s innovative resolve. The Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is also a realization of the power of eternal resolve and unity. Yogi remarked on the work the RSS has done in various fields. Every Indian and every Sanatani should express gratitude for that. He said that being grateful to the creator is the identity of Sanatan. Expressing gratitude is both a religion and a responsibility.

Chief Minister said that we have to be cautious of the enemies of the society. We also need to be cautious of those who do not like harmony. He told that his government has also brought a bill against religious conversion and love jihad. Both these types of conspiracies are being dealt with strictly but the society also has to remain vigilant. If we remain united, no power in the world will be able to harm us.
