VP Radhakrishnan, PM Modi, other dignitaries congratulate RSS on its 100th anniversary

New Delhi, October 2: On the occasion of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s centenary today, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and former President Ram Nath Kovind, among others, extended their best wishes.

Vice President Radhakrishna expressed his heartfelt greetings on this important occasion of the RSS’s centenary on the social media platform X. Since its founding in 1925 by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the RSS has cultivated strong inner character and instilled a spirit of selfless social service in the youth. With the motto of “Seva Paramo Dharmah,” volunteers serve society without any orders during floods, famines, earthquakes, or any other disaster. The RSS never discriminates on the basis of religion, caste, or language, and this is an invaluable contribution to the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat’s inspiring address highlighted the RSS’s rich contribution to nation-building. He underscored its global significance by linking the RSS’s role to India’s innate potential and new heights of glory.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind attended the Sri Vijayadashami celebrations in Nagpur and congratulated all volunteers and the RSS family on Vijayadashami and the centenary celebrations. He stated that the RSS’s contribution will be crucial in building a developed India and a fully harmonious and integrated India by 2047.

Sadhguru described the RSS as a symbol of patriotism and said that the RSS united society through silent service and sacrifice during India’s difficult times. He congratulated the RSS on completing its 100th anniversary.
