Pawan Kalyan’s “They Call Him OG” makes juggernaut entry at box office

Actor Pawan Kalyan had been in the news for a long time for his film “They Call Him OG.” As soon as the film was screened in theaters on September 25, huge crowds of audiences flocked to the ticket windows. This crime and action-packed film had a strong opening at the box office, surpassing other big-name films on its first day. 

According to box office monitoring website Sacnilk, “They Call Him OG” grossed approximately ₹ 70 crore (700 million) in all languages ​​on its first day of release on Thursday.

The film had already collected ₹20.25 crore (approximately ₹90.25 crore) in pre-sales. This brings the total opening day of “OG” to ₹90.25 crore. “OG” has had a strong impact not only in India but also abroad.

The film grossed ₹150 crore worldwide on its first day of release. The film’s budget is reportedly around ₹250 crore.

“OG” stars Pawan Kalyan, along with Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. Sujeeth has directed and written the story.
