Lucknow, September 23: The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh has arrested a criminal carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 from Maharashtra.
Additional Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh said on Tuesday that the Lucknow STF team was searching for the wanted criminal from Raniganj police station of Pratapgarh district. His location was found at Rawale intersection near Dhansoli in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. With the help of the Mumbai police, the STF arrested him on Monday.
He has been identified as Abhishek alias Pradyuman, a resident of Jariyari village in Raniganj police station area of ​​Pratapgarh district. He was hiding in Mumbai to escape the UP police. There is a reward of Rs 50,000 on him. The accused is being brought to Lucknow after taking transit remand from the Mumbai court.
