Ghaziabad, September 19: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India will develop only when Uttar Pradesh develops. Therefore, we are pursuing the vision of a “developed India – developed Uttar Pradesh.”

He said that the Prime Minister’s vision is that we must respect heritage and, along with respecting heritage, eradicate the mentality of slavery.

He said that we must respect the army and those in uniform, practice harmony, and fulfill our civic duties. He said that when anyone working in any field considers their duties as a national duty, the results will be positive. He said that a marathon discussion on “developed India – developed Uttar Pradesh” was held in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in August, in which leaders from all parties participated in large numbers.

Yogi stated that more than 300 intellectuals are traveling to various regions to discuss the idea of ​​a developed India, interacting with women, entrepreneurs, businessmen, doctors, and people from various sectors of society. He said that during the period of slavery, a slave mentality permeated us. We considered Indianness to be the cause of backwardness. We assumed that foreigners were the best, and Indianness was backward.

He said that if you look back, you will find that until the 17th century, India was the world’s number one economy. China was in second place, and all other countries were far behind. He said that as the slave mentality spread among us, India began to lag behind.

He said that under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become one of the world’s strongest economies. He said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has developed in every field.

He said that between 2014 and 2025, 70 percent of people are taking advantage of India’s social security schemes, compared to 25 to 30 percent before. He said that India has become the country with the third largest startup ecosystem in the world.

He said that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was among the country’s sick states. He said that Ghaziabad previously had a bad image. It was known for gangsters. A film was made in the name of a gangster here. He said that Ghaziabad was known for filth and gangsters. Gautam Buddha Nagar had become a hub of loot. A rumor was spread that if the Chief Minister went there, he would not become Chief Minister again.

He said that after hearing this, he said that he would definitely go to Noida again. He said that after becoming Chief Minister, he went there. He said that when he went there, he discovered that such rumors were spread by corrupt people. He said that despite going to Gautam Buddha Nagar repeatedly, I became the Chief Minister again after completing my 5-year term.

He said that it was said about Bijnor that the Chief Minister should not stay there overnight. I went there and stayed there for the night. It was said about Agra that staying in the Circuit House would bring a ghost. I decided to interview the ghost and stayed overnight in Agra.

He said that when there is a determination to do something, no obstacle can stand in the way. Work that is beneficial for the nation and society should be done. He said that per capita income in Uttar Pradesh has more than tripled. Job and employment opportunities have been expanded for thousands of youth. Prosperity has come to the lives of farmers, the food providers.

He said that Uttar Pradesh has the largest expressway network and the largest metro network in operation. Uttar Pradesh has the largest railway network in the country. He said that the 12-lane Ghaziabad-Meerut Highway and the Rapid Train have improved Ghaziabad’s image. He said that today Ghaziabad is no longer a gangster city. Ghaziabad has established its identity as an industrial and educational center. He said that today no one can call Uttar Pradesh a sick state.

He said that Uttar Pradesh has become the country’s number two economy. In the next few years, it will become the number one economy. He said that our greatest strength is our youth, the farmers who provide food, half the population is women power, our entrepreneurs, our workers, and every person working in every field of life is our strength. He said that India will develop only when it becomes self-reliant, and India will become self-reliant only when Uttar Pradesh develops.

Yogi added further that for this, we must plan now. We will decide what we want to achieve in the next five years, the next ten years, and the next 22 years, and how to do it. He said that we have identified 12 sectors, including health, education, industry, agriculture, and technology, in which we must work diligently and diligently, and make Uttar Pradesh the leader in the country.

At a program held in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, the Chief Minister released a book written by former MP Narendra Tomar on the Prime Minister of India. A video presentation on Developed India 2047 was presented on this occasion.
