Ayodhya, 12 September: Mauritius Prime Minister Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam reached Ayodhya to offer prayer at Shri Ram Lalla temple on Friday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed him in a traditional way at the Ayodhya airport. Dr Ramgoolam will worship Ram Lalla at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple here.
Mauritius Prime Minister Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam along with his family members, senior officials of Mauritius Prime Minister’s Office and cabinet ministers reached Maharishi Valmiki Airport.
From the airport, the Prime Minister of Mauritius will go to Shri Ram Temple via Prayagraj-Lucknow Highway.
District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde said that Prime Minister Ramgoolam has left directly for Ram Temple from the airport. The Prime Minister’s convoy will reach Ram Temple after covering a distance of about 15 km via Prayagraj-Lucknow Highway. He will be welcomed by the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust at Ram Janmabhoomi.
DM Ayodhya told that he will stay in Ram Mandir for about one and a half hours. During this time, he will visit Ramlala and Raja Ram and also observe the construction work of the temple. He will also perform ‘Jalabhishek’ of Lord Shiva after reaching Jatayu and Kuber mound in Ram Janmabhoomi premises.
