Gorakhpur, 4 September: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to ensure that every eligible person gets the benefits of the welfare schemes of the government. The benefits of government schemes are being given on a large scale for the treatment of the needy and the arrangement of housing. But, if due to some reasons a person has not yet come under the purview of these schemes, then effective action should be taken to provide him the benefits of the schemes.

CM Yogi gave these instructions while listening to the problems of the people during Janta Darshan at Gorakhnath temple on Thursday.

Chief Minister himself reached the people seated on chairs in the Janta Darshan organized in front of Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan located in the temple premises and while listening to everyone’s problems one by one, assured that every problem will be resolved in a timely, transparent and satisfactory manner.

In Janta Darshan, the Chief Minister heard the problems of about 250 people. A large number of them were women. During this, a woman told about the problem of some people creating obstacles in laying the lintel during the construction of her house. On this, the Chief Minister directed the officials to help the woman and if someone is creating obstacles against the law, then action should be taken against him.

Similarly, on the complaints of land grabbing, the Chief Minister said that strict legal action should be ensured in such cases. Effective action should be taken in matters related to revenue and police. He said that the officers should always give priority to the works of public welfare and ensure quick resolution of the problems of every victim.

CM Yogi assured the people who came with the request of financial assistance in the treatment of serious diseases that no treatment will be stopped due to lack of money. In the last one year, the government has provided financial assistance of Rs 1100 crore from the relief fund for the treatment of serious diseases.

He directed the officials to complete the process of estimates of those people who are facing financial crisis in the treatment of serious diseases on priority and make it available to the government. The government will provide full financial assistance for treatment.
