Bijnor, 3 September: Nayab Tehsildar posted in Sadar Tehsil in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh committed suicide by shooting himself with his licensed revolver. On receiving the information, all the officers from District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police to others reached the spot. The police sent the body for the postmortem.
Nayab Tehsildar Rajkumar Singh (42 years) committed suicide by shooting himself on the temple with his licensed revolver at his government residence on Wednesday morning. When his wife tried to open the room after hearing the sound of the bullet, it was locked from inside. On the other hand, chaos broke out in the colony after hearing the gunshot. Somehow, after opening the gate, Nayab Tehsildar Rajkumar was admitted in a private hospital in Bijnor in a serious condition where the doctor declared him dead after a few hours. During this time, district administration officials including DM, SP were present in the hospital.
It was told that Naib Tehsildar Rajkumar Singh had returned to Bijnor from Allahabad this morning, shortly after that he locked himself in the room and shot himself in the temple. The reason for suicide is not clear, according to the discussion domestic discord can be the main reason.
Naib Tehsildar Rajkumar Singh was a resident of Nangal in district Baghpat. He has left behind his wife Aanchal, daughter Siya-7 years, younger daughter Shaavi-2 years. On hearing the news of the death of Naib Tehsildar Rajkumar Singh, mourning condition spread in the tehsil. The Superintendent of Police said that the reasons for suicide are being investigated.
