Rae Bareli, August 28: A huge uproar erupted in Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh over the indecent comment made on Prime Minister Modi in Bihar. The BJP workers, while raising slogans, tried to burn the effigy of MP Rahul Gandhi. During this, scuffle broke out between police personnel and BJP workers as well.
The atmosphere got heated on Thursday at Degree College crossing in Rae Bareli city, when BJP workers tried to burn the effigy of Rahul Gandhi when the police snatched the effigy, the angry workers started raising slogans on the road. There was a strong scuffle between the police and the workers.
In this protest led by BJP leader and Block Pramukh Piyush Pratap Singh, the workers made serious allegations against Rahul Gandhi. The workers say that by repeatedly using abusive language, the Congress leaders are polluting politics and insulting the dignity of the post of Prime Minister. The workers warned that if Rahul Gandhi does not control his language then the BJP will launch a fierce agitation across the country. The situation was controlled in the presence of CO Sadar Amit Singh and a heavy police force.
It is worth mentioning that the anger among the BJP workers is at its peak after Rahul Gandhi’s comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his ongoing Voter Rights Yatra in Bihar. In protest against this statement, the anger of BJP workers came out on the streets in Rae Bareli today.
