Moradabad, August 23: The Moradabad commissioner Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, who was in Uttar Pradesh for four years, was relieved by the Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday for his parent cadre Sikkim. The Appointment Department has also approved 60 days leave for him as per rules on completion of deputation. He was on deputation in UP for 10 years.
It worth mentioning that 2005 batch IAS Aunjaneya Kumar Singh, who came into limelight for taking action against the Samajwadi Party’s strong leader and former minister Mohammad Azam Khan, had come on deputation to Uttar Pradesh in February 2015. In UP, he was the District Magistrate of Bulandshahr, Fatehpur and Rampur. Aunjaneya Kumar Singh was promoted and made the Commissioner of Moradabad on 2 March 2021.
The Appointment Department has given the charge of Moradabad Commissioner to Moradabad District Magistrate Anuj Singh.
