Lucknow, August 19: The Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary and senior IAS Shashi Prakash Goyal has gone on long leave. In place of Goyal, the government has handed over the charge of Chief Secretary to Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar (IAS 1990 batch). He has got the charge of all the departments of the Chief Secretary. He will perform this responsibility till the Chief Secretary returns from leave.
It is noteworthy that senior IAS Shashi Prakash Goyal of 1989 batch had assumed charge of Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh only 19 days back. After August 15 and Janmashtami festival, he suddenly went on long leave on Tuesday. His going on long leave has become a headlines.
