Moradabad, 16 August: Bulldozer action is not only being carried out on houses and shops, but on our rights. Our rights are being trampled under the bulldozer. Power has been divided in three places in the country, legislature, executive and judiciary, but one power is doing the work of all three. These things were said by Ziaur Rahman Barq, Samajwadi Party MP from Sambhal Lok Sabha, in a statement given to a TV channel on Saturday.
SP MP Ziaur Rahman Barq further said that we want the country’s democracy and rights to remain in place. No one has the right, whether it is the police-administration or the government, to punish. The job of giving punishment is of the country’s judiciary, on which we trust blindly. We respect the entire judiciary of this country, whether it is the small judiciary or the highest judiciary, but if someone has done something wrong, then you can only take action as per the written code, it is not your job to punish.
MP Zia ur Rahman said that the judiciary has repeatedly told the Supreme Court that the bulldozer action should be stopped, but it is sad that the order of the Supreme Court is also repeatedly ignored.
MP Burq said that if there was no right to vote in this country, then what would be the difference between monarchy and democracy. We want that the government elected by the people should remain in place and it will remain in place only when all people will have the right to cast their votes. If 65 lakh votes are cut in Bihar, then what will be the election. We want that along with Bihar, democracy should be established in the entire country, the constitution should be established and along with that, the people should choose the government by their right. That right should not be snatched away.
