Makers of the film introduced ‘ticket at 99’ plan for moviegoers so that the film could witness some jump in box office collection but according to the box office website Sacnilk, Son of Sardar 2 earned only โน 0.45 crores on Tuesday till 5.30pm despite reduction in ticket rate.
Ajay Devgan and Mrunal Thakur starrer comedy-drama ‘Son of Sardar 2’ was in theaters on August 1 but before the release, the makers had high hopes from this film, but it seems to be struggling to attract a large number of audiences at the box office till now.
Therefore, the makers of the film have come out with a scheme of ‘Ticket at 99’ for viewers on Tuesday. Announcing this offer, the makers wrote on social media, “This is your hint paaji… quickly book the tickets of ‘Son of Sardar 2’, that too for only 99 rupees.”
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, ‘Son of Sardar 2’ earned Rs 1 crore on the 11th day of its release, i.e. on the second Monday. Thus, the total box office collection of the film has reached Rs 43 crore in 11 days.
Film made on a budget of about Rs 150 crore, also stars actors like Neeru Bajwa, Roshni Walia, Kubra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Sahil Mehta, Chunky Pandey and Ravi Kishan in important roles.
