Lucknow, 7 August: In the last 60 days, bulldozer action was taken against illegal encroachments and unrecognized religious institutions in the districts bordering Nepal.
During this, a total of 298 illegal mosques, Idgahs, madrasas and mazars were identified. While notice was issued against 223 illegal constructions. At the same time, 130 illegal constructions were demolished while 198 illegal constructions were sealed.
Chief Minister Yogi’s bulldozer roared on illegal constructions in Pilibhit, Shravasti, Balrampur, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Siddharthnagar and Maharajganj. At the same time, most action was taken against illegal construction in Shravasti.

Shravasti District Magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, action is being taken against illegal mosques, Idgahs, madrasas and shrines built on government and private land within 10 km of Indo-Nepal border. In such a situation, on the instructions of the Yogi government, 149 illegal constructions have been identified in Shravasti so far. Out of these, notice was given to all 149 illegal constructions while 140 illegal constructions were sealed. At the same time, 37 illegal constructions were demolished.
District Magistrate said that action against illegal constructions is still going on.
Lakhimpur Kheri District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal said that a total of 13 illegal constructions were identified in the district. Out of these, notice was given to 1 illegal construction while 10 illegal constructions were sealed. At the same time, 3 illegal constructions were demolished. Similarly, 45 illegal constructions have been identified in Maharajganj. Out of these, all 45 illegal constructions were given notice while 24 illegal constructions were sealed. At the same time, 31 illegal constructions were demolished.
In Balrampur, 19 illegal constructions were sealed and 21 illegal constructions were demolished.

At the same time, 25 illegal constructions have been identified in Bahraich. Out of these, 25 illegal constructions were given notice while 5 illegal constructions were sealed. Also, 15 illegal constructions were demolished. In Pilibhit, 2 illegal constructions have been identified. Both these illegal constructions were demolished. At the same time, 41 illegal constructions have been identified in Balrampur. Out of these, 1 illegal construction was given notice while 19 illegal constructions were sealed. Also, 21 illegal constructions were demolished.
On the instructions of the Yogi government, Shravasti took the most action against illegal construction in the Nepal border areas in the last 60 days. After this, bulldozers action initiated against illegal construction in Maharajganj and Balrampur.
