Chitrakoot, 31 July: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Rajapur, the birthplace of Goswami Tulsidas in Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
Chief Minister offered prayers to Goswami Tulsidas at Tulsi Janm Kutir here amid Vedic chanting and saw the handwritten Shri Ramcharitmanas kept by him.
After this, Chief Minister Yogi attended the Tulsi Sahitya Sammelan organized by Saint Morari Bapu at Tulsi Resort. Apart from Saint Morari Bapu, he met the sages, saints, religious leaders and public representatives present there including Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya. After this, the Chief Minister unveiled the statue of Goswami Tulsidas at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Ganiva.
Meanwhile, strict security arrangements were put in place in view of the arrival of the Chief Minister. Security personnel were deployed by barricading every street in Rajapur. The entire market remained closed on the arrival of the CM. At the same time, people gave a rousing welcome to the Chief Minister by showering flowers on him in the streets of Tulsi Nagari.
First of all, on the arrival of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Tulsi Nagari helipad site in Chitrakoot, the holy land of Lord Shri Ram, the district’s in-charge minister Manohar Lal as well as public representatives welcomed him by presenting flowers. After this, the Chief Minister left for Tulsi Janma Kutir.
