4 including 2 sisters held for serving obscenity on Instagram in Sambhal

Sambhal, July 15: The Sambhal Police arrested four people including two sisters who made obscene videos on social media platform Instagram and earned money from it on Tuesday. A complaint was lodged against them in the police on Monday. A case was registered and investigation was being done, after which this action has been taken.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishna Kumar Bishnoi told presser that with the help of Asmauli police station and surveillance cell, a gang spreading obscenity and earning money by uploading obscene video content on social media has been exposed. Four people including two sisters Mehak, Pari and a youth involved in the gang have been arrested. The accused were earning 25 to 30 thousand rupees every month by posting obscene videos.

SP said that the police was getting information about the activities of this gang for a long time. These accused were arrested in a joint operation by the cyber cell and the local police station. Several mobile phones, ring lights, tripods and other video making equipment have been recovered from the accused. The accused admitted that by uploading obscene content on social media accounts, these people were earning money from the audience through gifts, followers and views.

The SP clearly said that those who misuse social media and spread obscenity will not be spared under any circumstances. It not only misleads the society, but also has a bad effect on the youth. Other such social media accounts are being traced.
