Lucknow, June 20: The team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) Lucknow on Friday provisionally attached residential property worth Rs 27.01 crore of Satinder Singh Bhasin under PMLA, 2002 in the case of Bhasin Infotech and Infrastructure Limited.
According to the information received from the ED office, the current market value of Satinder Singh Bhasin’s property has been estimated to be around Rs 44 crore. This property has been attached as the value equivalent to the proceeds of crime in a case related to cheating the public in the name of investment in real estate projects.
In another case, ED Lucknow has provisionally attached the properties of Allahabad resident Mohammad Javed in the form of bank balance worth Rs 55.07 lakh under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 of Shine City Group and others.
This property is related to fraudulently collecting money from the public through Ponzi-pyramid scheme under the guise of investing in the real estate sector and other lucrative schemes.
