Lucknow, June 19: The Uttar Pradesh government has appointed nodal officers in 75 districts as per its intention to organize International Yoga Day in a big way. International Yoga Day programs will be celebrated with great pomp at all places including government employees, schools and colleges of education sector in all the districts of the state.
Among the nodal officers appointed for International Yoga Day in 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, in Gorakhpur division, Sports Secretary Suhas L Y for Gorakhpur district, Urban Development Secretary Ajay Kumar Shukla for Deoria, Divisional Commissioner Anil Kumar Dhingra for Kushinagar and Director Local Bodies Anuj Kumar Jha in Maharajganj have been appointed.
Like Gorakhpur division, senior officers have been appointed in the remaining divisions as well. In Varanasi division, Drinking Water Mission Rural Director Dr. Rajshekhar in Varanasi, Sugarcane Commissioner Pramod Kumar Vice President in Jaunpur, Revenue Council Member Secretary Abhay in Chandauli, Divisional Commissioner S.Rajalingam in Ghazipur have been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing International Yoga Day. Similarly, in Agra division, Vocational Education and Skill Development Principal Secretary Dr Hariom in Agra, Divisional Commissioner Shailendra Kumar Singh in Mathura, Political Pension and Civil Defense Principal Secretary Sanyukta Samaddar in Firozabad, Basic Education Secretary Dr. Sarika Mohan in Mainpuri have been appointed.
Under Meerut division, Secretariat Administration Principal Secretary Amit Kumar Ghosh in Meerut, Urban Development Principal Secretary Amrit Abhijat in Ghaziabad, Public Works Department Principal Secretary Ajay Chauhan in Hapur, Tourism, Culture and Charitable Works Principal Secretary Mukesh Meshram in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Food Logistics Commissioner Bhupendra Chaudhary in Baghpat and Meerut Divisional Commissioner Dr Hrikesh Bhaskar in Bulandshahr have been appointed.
