Lucknow, June 14: Appointment letters will be distributed on June 15 to the candidates selected for 60,244 posts of constable civil police in Uttar Pradesh Police. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guests at the ceremony organized at the Defense Expo Ground. Preparations for this are underway in full swing.
The Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna reached the Defense Expo Ground on Saturday and inspected the venue.
Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna told reporters that grand preparations are underway for the appointment letter distribution ceremony of the newly selected police constables at the Defense Expo Ground. The selected candidates include men and women. Selected candidates from every corner of every district will reach Lucknow. For this, proper transport arrangements have also been made from the districts. All arrangements have been made keeping in mind their stay, food and heat. Officers of all departments are playing their part with the aim of making this event a success.
The DGP said that conducting this examination with transparency was a challenging task for the police. Before this examination, many examinations were conducted, in which many questions were raised. Departmental officials took it as a challenge and played an important role in making the examination successful. The selected candidates will be given appointment letters tomorrow.
In view of this event, the Traffic Directorate has diverted the traffic route in 10 districts including Lucknow, Kanpur. Heavy vehicles will be banned in Lucknow. In view of the presence of the Home Minister in Lucknow, extensive security arrangements have been made at the venue and surrounding areas. Checking campaigns are being conducted on all routes. For security purposes, metal detectors, CCTV cameras and drones will be installed at the venue. Police officers in plain clothes will be present.
Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna, ADG Ashok Mutha Jain of UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Ashok Kumar Singh and all other senior police officers will be present in the program.
It is worth noting that the UP Police Recruitment Board had declared the final result of 60244 posts of constable civil police on March 13, 2025. 48,17,441 had applied online. 12048 female candidates are also among those who passed the exam. According to the program released by the department, the selected candidates will be given one month training in the district from June 17. After this, a nine-month training will begin, in which the candidates will be trained about forensic science, cyber crime, 39 laws.
