Akshay Kumar’s much-hyped film ‘Housefull-5’ has made a tremendous beginning as soon as it was released in theatres. Crowds of moviegoers have thronged the theatres to watch the film, and it is getting a great response from the audience.
This comedy entertainer, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, was released on 6 June and in just four days, it has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. Now everyone’s eyes are on how much ‘Housefull-5’ earned on its fourth day i.e. Sunday.
Even though, there was a slight decline in the earnings of ‘Housefull-5’ on the fourth day, the film has maintained a good hold despite being a working day.
According to the report of Sacnilk, the film has collected around Rs 13.50 crore on the fourth day of its release. With this, the total earnings of the film have now crossed Rs 101 crore.
Talking about the initial days, ‘Housefull 5’ had an opening of Rs 24 crore on the first day. On the second day it did a great business of Rs 31 crore, and on the third day it did a great business of Rs 32.5 crore.
Along with Akshay Kumar, many stars like Ritesh Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt and Sonam Bajwa are seen in ‘Housefull-5’. Especially the tremendous comic timing of Akshay and Ritesh in the film is getting a lot of appreciation from the audience.
Apart from this, the star cast of the film also includes Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey and Dino Morea. The budget of this multi-starrer comedy film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is around Rs 225 crore.
