Lucknow, June 4: Assistant Commissioner Yogendra Mishra, accused in the assault case in the Income Tax Department in Lucknow, has been sent to West Bengal-Sikkim region. Yogendra will have to submit his contribution report in the office of West Bengal-Sikkim region in the next few hours. The suspended Assistant Commissioner will remain attached there till further orders. Yogendra will not be able to leave the attached office without informing.
It is worth mentioning that a scuffle broke out between two IRS officers namely Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Garg and accused Assistant Commissioner Yogendra Mishra in the Income Tax Department office on May 29 in Lucknow. Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Garg was injured in this. After which an FIR was lodged against Yogendra Mishra in Hazratganj police station.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax Department Yogendra Mishra alleged in front of journalists that action is being taken against him as a conspiracy. Gaurav Garg’s wife is a police officer, due to whose pressure an FIR has been filed against him. Now Gaurav Garg is behind the action taken by the Income Tax Department as well. Efforts are being made to tarnish his image.
