Ayodhya, May 28: ‘Pran Pratishtha’ will be held simultaneously in the eight temples of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. For uniformity in time and worship, all the new temples will be connected to each other through visual medium (camera and screen). On the eve of this (on June 2), ‘Jal Kalash Yatra’ will be taken out from the holy Saryu bank.

On Wednesday, Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, told reporters that the three-day event will start on the next day of Kalash Yatra from Jyeshtha Shukla Ashtami (June 3) and will be completed on Dashami (June 5) with worship, bhog, aarti. The ritual will start at 6:30 am on all three days.

Rai told that the idols of ‘Shivling’ at the northeast corner of the rampart, the first revered Shri Ganesha at the southeast corner, Mahabali Hanuman at the middle of the southern side, the direct deity Surya at the southwest corner, Maa Bhagwati at the northwest corner, and Annapurna Mata at the middle of the northern side are to be consecrated. Along with this, the idols of Shri Ram Darbar at the first floor of the main temple and Sheshavatar idol at the southwest corner of the rampart will be consecrated.

According to the Trust General Secretary, on June 3 and 4, the worship will begin at 6:30 am and will be completed by the same time in the evening. On Jyeshtha Shukla Ashtami (June 5), the worship will begin at 6:30 am and will continue till 11:20 am. The consecration will be from 11:25 am. After this, there will be worship, bhog and aarti. All the programs will be completed by 1 pm. The special thing is that the consecration will be done simultaneously in all the above temples.

He apprised that Saryu Jal Kalash Yatra will start from the eastern bank of the old bridge at four o’clock in the second half and will reach Yagyashala via Veena Chowk, Ram Path, Shringar Haat, Hanuman Garhi, Dashrath Mahal, Ramkot and Rangmahal Barrier. It is noteworthy that worship rituals will be performed simultaneously in all the temples and they will be connected through cameras and screens so that there is uniformity in the worship method.

The General Secretary of the Tirtha Kshetra said that the worship method will be performed by the scholar Jai Prakash of Kashi. He has been involved in the worship of August 5, 2020 and January 22, 2024. Amar Nath of Basti will also be with him and Rithvik’s from many other major places will also be present. The final decision is yet to be taken on the date of opening these temples for the devotees to visit. It is certain that only a limited number of people will be allowed to visit Shri Ram Darbar located on the first floor. Probably only 50 devotees will be issued permission (passes) per hour. Discussions are going on in the trust on the detailed plan.
