New Delhi, May 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the 10th meeting of the Governing Council of the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Saturday.
The meeting will discuss the roadmap to achieve the goal of making India a developed country by the year 2047. Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors and Administrators from across the country will attend this meeting.
Niti Aayog said in a statement issued on Friday that in line with its commitment to take all the states along as “Team India” for a developed India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the 10th Governing Council meeting of Niti Aayog at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on May 24. The theme of the meeting this year is ‘Developed States for Developed India @ 2047’, in which the focus will be mainly on the states. In this way, India will be made a developed nation.
The Governing Council meeting will discuss the vision of the developed state for a developed India@2047. According to the Commission, the meeting will also discuss measures to promote entrepreneurship, enhance skills and create sustainable employment opportunities across the country.
