India’s diplomatic dialogue begins, two delegations visit Japan and UAE

New Delhi, May 22: India has started diplomatic dialogue to share its efforts against terrorism and the message of “Operation Sindoor” at the global level. Two delegations are on a visit to Japan and the United Arab Emirates respectively. This dialogue is being seen as an important step towards strengthening international cooperation under India’s foreign policy agenda.

The all-party parliamentary delegation led by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha to Japan met Japan’s Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya in Tokyo. During this, India’s stand on “Operation Sindoor” and against terrorism was clearly presented.

Earlier, India’s Ambassador to Japan Sibi George informed the delegation about the diplomatic perspectives related to Japan. The purpose of this briefing was to effectively present India’s “anti-terrorism campaign” in Japan’s perspective.

The delegation includes many prominent leaders. BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi, Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee, CPI(M) MP John Brittas, BJP MP Brajlal, BJP MP Pradan Barua, BJP MP Hemang Joshi, MP Salman Khurshid and diplomat Mohan Kumar were present. The team will visit five major countries of East and South-East Asia – Japan (May 22), South Korea (May 24), Singapore (May 27), Indonesia (May 28) and Malaysia (May 31).

The second delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Srikant Shinde reached Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates late night. The delegation includes Bharatiya Janata Party MP Bansuri Swaraj, Indian Union Muslim League MP ET Mohammed Basheer, BJP MP Atul Garg, BJD MP Sasmit Patra, BJP Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Manan Kumar Mishra, BJP leader SS Ahluwalia and diplomat Sujan Chinoy.

The delegation was welcomed by “Federal National Council” member Ahmed Mir Khoori and Indian Ambassador Sanjay Sudhir in Abu Dhabi.

Apart from the UAE, the delegation will also visit Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sierra Leone. This effort is a sign of strengthening India’s strategic partnership globally.
