New Delhi, May 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his message to the nation on Monday clearly put forward India’s tough policy and decisive action against terrorism.

He said that India will now give a ‘befitting reply’ to terrorist attacks. Blackmail through nuclear weapons will not be tolerated and action will be taken on terror on its own terms.

Terror and dialogue cannot go together

The Prime Minister also gave a clear message to the world that in India’s policy, terror and dialogue cannot go together, nor is trade possible. He said, “Water and blood cannot flow together.” This may not be the era of conventional war, but it is not of terrorism either. He clarified that any talks with Pakistan will focus only on terrorism and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Terrorist hideouts exposed, links to international terrorism

The Prime Minister said that the terrorist camps on which action was taken are linked to 9/11, London bomb blasts and 26/11 Mumbai attacks. He said that when senior Pakistani officials arrived to bid farewell to the killed terrorists, it is a big proof for the world that Pakistan supports terrorism. He warned that if Pakistan wants to survive, it will have to completely dismantle its terrorist infrastructure. There is no other way.

A befitting reply to the barbarity of April 22

In his 20-minute address, the Prime Minister said, “Terrorist organizations and their patrons now know what is the result of removing vermilion from the forehead of sisters and daughters. The barbarity of April 22 shook the country and the world, but India has responded to it in one voice.”

Gave a clear message to be ready for action against terrorism.

The Prime Minister said that India has given a clear message to Pakistan that it should be ready to pay the price for supporting terrorism. β€œNo nuclear blackmail will work now. We will not differentiate between terrorists and the governments that support them.” He also said that supporting terrorism is not in the interest of the Pakistani government and nurturing terrorism will destroy Pakistan one day.

Action temporarily suspended, further decision depends on Pakistan’s attitude

The Prime Minister said that on Pakistan’s request, India has temporarily suspended military action. But India’s next step will depend on how Pakistan behaves in the future. He said that Pakistan was prepared for a war on the border, but India directly attacked it on the chest. Frightened by this, Pakistan started looking for ways to avoid aggressive action and appealed to the whole world. Finally, on the afternoon of May 10, the Pakistani army contacted the Indian DGMO.

Major success against terror in the action of May 6-7

Referring to the Indian military action on 6-7 May, the Prime Minister said that India turned its pledge into results. Indian missiles and drones not only destroyed terrorist hideouts, but also broke the morale of the enemies.

Display of ‘Made in India Defense’, valor dedicated to every daughter

The Prime Minister praised the Indian Army, scientists and armed forces and said that this valor is dedicated to every mother, sister and daughter of the country. He said that the world has seen the defense capabilities of self-reliant India through “Made in India Defense”.
